Quick fixes 17 – How to delete or reupload bank transactions manually on Xero

  1. Go to the bank and find the manage account, then select import statement.
  2. Download the Template – Get the Excel (CSV) template from Xero.
  3. Open the File – Open the downloaded Excel file.
  4. Enter Transaction Details – Fill in the date, amount, payer/payee, description, and reference.
  5. Upload the File – Once completed, browse your computer, select the file, and import it.
  6. Statement Imported – Your bank statement is now uploaded without duplicates
  7. To delete the bank line on Xero: find the transaction under the Reconcile tab, select Options and Delete line.
