- Find the Payment – Go to your bank reconciliation and find the lump sum payment.
- Click ‘Match’ – Search for the customer (e.g., Smart Agencies) and select the invoices related to this payment.
- Use the ‘Split’ Option – If an invoice is only partially paid, click ‘Split’ to divide the amount.
- Adjust the Amounts – Enter the amount you want to allocate (e.g., 2,000 now and 300 later).
- Reconcile the Payment – The remaining balance will stay as outstanding in receivables or payables until it’s fully paid.
